All of our recipes comprise of raw living foods which have not been heated above approx 110F in order to maintain the original nutrient and micronutrient make up of the foods. Honey is often a controversial ingredient amongst raw food diet enthusiasts. We keep our own honey bees in the garden and use any excess honey, but we understand that there are many other people who choose not to use any animal products. Therefore we always recommend an alternate option for raw vegans.
These recipes are also suitable for anyone who is looking to improve their health by increasing their intake of raw whole foods while decreasing their processed foods, meat and dairy. This may include those following a vegan, vegetarian, wheat free, grain free, plant based, paleo, gluten free, or dairy free diet.
